We spent a couple of hours with Nina and Josip in Trogir where we had an engagement photo session (you can check it up over here) and they told us about the outdoor wedding plan and we knew it was meant to be perfect. On the wedding day, we arrived in Split and there was pouring rain and they did have some plan B but just minutes before the official gathering, the rain finally stopped. It was meant to be – the light was perfect, Nina and Josip were a shiny couple. The wedding reception took place in the archeological park of Roman ruins of Salona, just a couple of miles from Split. Location was perfect for some bride and groom photos so we had to use it. We also made the best moments movie so have a look.
The wedding itself took place in front of the church of St. Caius in Solin. Guests were given balloons which they let go immediately after the firs kiss of the newlyweds. The whole atmosphere and the golden hour light was really impressive and the priest gave such a beautiful speech that Andrea was holding herself from crying.
Of course there were some torches which is so typical for every Croatian wedding in Split or should we say every Croatian wedding in Dalmatia.
The celebration continued in the Yes I Do tent in the suburbs of Split with the great music from Pink Panther band and interior well lit with Lolita Light and Sound.
